The Nano Glass and Ceramic Coating is an alcohol based complete system, generating an anti-stick and a hydro- and oleophobic easy-to-clean effect on glass and ceramic surfaces. The applied material (e.g. by spraying, rubbing) produces a two- dimensional net matrix on the surface which reduces the sticking ability of grease, dirt, water etc. Water simply pearls off. The coated surfaces are now very easy to clean.

Application:

 

Pre-Cleaning:

• Make sure the surface is free of fat, dust, water, etc. the surface has to be dry before application of nanocoating.

 

Coating:

• The best method for application is by spraying
• The product should be spread over the clean surface sparingly and with rotating motions. (You require approximately 20 ml per m²). 
• The coating should be spread out by rubbing or polishing with a microfiber or lint-free tissue/cloth or polishing machine. Appearance of greyish residues is normal.

 

Drying and Cleaning:

• The coated product has to be dried for 30 – 60 min. at room temperature.
• The coated surface has to be wiped with a tissue or after drying to remove the remaining greyish white residues

 

Curing:

• Allow 24 hours for coated surface to cure
• Proof of effectiveness through drop-test – Perform only after 24 hours ??? The glass should form drops, not a regular coating.

Influence of the environment:

• At high humidity, the glass panes should be wiped off with a cellulose towel, and precleaner, to strengthen the durability of the coat.

Important: 

• The drying of the applied material requires 30 minutes at least. If the humidity is higher, an extension of the cure time is to be expected (upto several hours).
